We decided early on that Coalton should have easy ways to make new functions. Instead of the traditional lambda, we call our anonymous functions fn, as in (fn (x) (* x x)). But since we got rid of the “currying style” of function definitions, fn has become a lot more prominent, and we think that this is still a little too wordy for very small, short functions.
