Cumulatively, Gerard of Cremona[7] transformed 87 Arabic texts into Latin,[8] including Greek-origin works such as Ptolemy's Almagest, Archimedes' Circular Measurements, Aristotle's Celestial Studies, and Euclid's Geometric Elements; alongside Arabic-origin works including al-Khwarizmi's Algebraic Studies, Jabir ibn Aflah's Astronomical Foundations,[9] and compositions by al-Razi (Rhazes).[10] Gerard also established numerous anatomical terms.[11] The Latin version of the Córdoba Calendar, titled Liber Anoe, has also been credited to Gerard.[12]
